2025 Yeongho-nam Cooperation and Mutual Growth Workshop Held
The Gumi Office of Education in North Gyeongsang Province visited the Naju Office of Education in South Jeolla Province from December 2 to 3, 2025, and held the "2025 Gumi-Naju Education Exchange Workshop" at the Naju Sports Complex to promote cooperation and mutual growth between the Yeongho-nam regions.
The opening ceremony of this workshop was held under the slogan of the renewed Gumi-Naju education exchange, attended by Min Byeongdo, Superintendent of the Gumi Office of Education, Byeon Jeongbin, Superintendent of the Naju Office of Education, along with 100 education officials and distinguished guests.
The 2025 Gumi-Naju Education Exchange Workshop is a project that was resumed in 2023, based on the "Business Agreement between the Gyeongsangbuk-do Office of Education and the Jeollanam-do Office of Education" signed on December 22, 2022. By utilizing the resources of the Yeongho-nam regions and fostering exchanges, the project aims to develop a sustainable educational cooperation model through mutual learning. The Gumi Office of Education has been carrying out educational exchange projects with the Naju Office of Education.
During the three-hour workshop, educational communities from both Gumi and Naju had the opportunity to engage in more sincere exchanges through sports activities and educational collaboration, creating a space for open communication.
Min Byeongdo, Superintendent of the Gumi Office of Education, stated, "This workshop provided an opportunity to share information about outstanding educational programs in Gumi and Naju and to strengthen the cooperative network system. I hope that continued educational exchanges will further develop Gumi-Naju education into a model of communication, cooperation, and mutual growth."
