Entertainer Park Narae, who has been subjected to a provisional seizure request by her former managers, has been reported to the police.
The Gangnam Police Station in Seoul announced on December 5 that it had received a complaint against Park, her mother, an unidentified medical professional, her former manager, and her agency Npark Corporation, on charges including violations of the Medical Service Act, aggravated assault, and violations of the Act on the Development of the Public Culture and Arts Industry.
Previously, on December 3, it was reported that Park's former managers had filed a request with the Seoul Western District Court for the provisional seizure of real estate worth 100 million won, corresponding to their claim amount. In their application, they reportedly claimed, "During our tenure as managers, we suffered workplace harassment, aggravated assault, proxy prescriptions, and unpaid project expenses, among other abuses of power." It is also reported that they are preparing a lawsuit seeking 100 million won in damages.
Park's side stated, "Last month, two managers resigned without any particular issue, but then suddenly filed a provisional seizure request for 100 million won," adding, "It is heartbreaking." Regarding the issue of Npark, a one-person agency established by Park's mother, operating without registering as a public culture and arts planning business, they explained, "We have applied for the registration process and will clarify our position through legal counsel."
