Starting December 10, Siheung City in Gyeonggi Province will operate a double-decker bus called 'Santa Riding' that circulates between Oido and Turtle Island, featuring a Christmas theme.
This special bus, which will run until December 28, has been organized to boost marine tourism during the winter season and to create a festive year-end atmosphere.
During the event period, the interior of the bus will be decorated with Christmas-themed props such as Rudolph, Santa, and Christmas trees, and photo zones will be set up.
The special bus will operate every Wednesday through Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. It will depart from the Turtle Island Promotion Center bus stop at the top of every hour, with the last departure at 9:00 p.m. The fare is 5,000 won for an all-day pass, allowing passengers to freely hop on and off at designated stops throughout the day with a single wristband ticket.
Boarding is prioritized for those who reserve in advance, but on-site card payments are also accepted for any remaining seats. Reservations can be made on the official Siheung City Tour website. Any changes to operations due to weather conditions such as rain or strong winds will be announced on the website’s notice board.
