Partnership with Digi-Key, the World's Largest Electronic Components Distributor
Penetrating R&D Hubs with Chip Sales and Development Environment Integration
Artificial intelligence (AI) semiconductor company DeepX will supply its AI accelerator product line to the global market through Digi-Key, the world's largest electronic components distribution and solutions company. As DeepX begins supplying its products to a platform regarded as a research and development (R&D) hub, the company is expected to gain deep access to global standard development environments.
On December 5, DeepX announced that it has entered into a partnership with Digi-Key to officially supply its AI accelerator product line to the global market. Digi-Key is a leading global e-commerce company for electronic components and semiconductors, with annual sales of $8.7 billion (about 12 trillion won), and boasts a powerful logistics network that guarantees product delivery within 24 to 48 hours to 180 countries worldwide. DeepX's entry into Digi-Key is seen as a signal of its entry into the core of the global semiconductor market.

Traditionally, the AI semiconductor market has been difficult for startups or individual researchers to access due to complex supply contracts and long lead times. By leveraging Digi-Key's immediate shipping system, DeepX has established an "ultra-simple e-commerce channel" that allows anyone, from Silicon Valley startups in the United States to university research labs in Europe, to easily purchase DeepX's latest neural processing units (NPUs) and development kits online as if shopping on an e-commerce platform.
This significantly increases the likelihood that DeepX's AI chips will be adopted from the small-scale production and R&D phases, securing a strong sales pipeline that can lead to mass production in the future.
In addition, DeepX has completely revamped its official website and developer portal to maximize development convenience. The company has improved its software development kit (SDK) distribution process so that developers can immediately download the latest SDKs and drivers simply by registering as members, eliminating previous procedural barriers. As a result, DeepX customers can now experience a one-stop development cycle: ordering hardware from Digi-Key, downloading the SDK from the developer portal, and immediately running AI models.
DeepX is building a comprehensive distribution network that spans both online and offline channels by partnering with major e-commerce platforms such as Hancom for the domestic market, while focusing on Digi-Key for the global market. A DeepX representative stated, "Listing on Digi-Key, which serves as a search engine for global engineers, is an important bridgehead for DeepX technology to become the standard in development sites worldwide. After improving hardware accessibility, we will further strengthen our software support ecosystem to create an environment where anyone can implement on-device AI."
Meanwhile, starting with the launch of this global distribution network, DeepX plans to rapidly expand its global market share by securing references in various application fields and actively incorporating user feedback into product advancement.
