According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, there will be light snow or rain in some regions, including Jeolla Province, until the morning. Ulleungdo and Dokdo are expected to receive 5 to 10 centimeters of snow or 5 to 10 millimeters of rain, while the west and east coasts of North Jeolla Province, as well as the western parts of Gwangju and South Jeolla Province, may see less than 0.1 centimeters of snow or less than 0.1 millimeters of rain. Due to the snow and rain that fell since the previous day, icy roads and black ice are likely in many areas, so extra caution is advised for traffic safety.
As of 5 a.m., the temperatures in major cities are as follows: Seoul -5.7°C, Incheon -4.5°C, Suwon -6.0°C, Chuncheon -6.1°C, Gangneung -1.8°C, Cheongju -4.5°C, Daejeon -4.5°C, Jeonju -1.7°C, Gwangju 1.6°C, Jeju 8.7°C, Daegu -0.6°C, Busan 2.3°C, Ulsan 0.8°C, and Changwon 2.0°C. Daytime highs are forecast to range between 1°C and 9°C.
Fine dust levels are expected to remain at a 'good' level across all regions.
Waves in the sea are expected to reach 0.5 to 2.0 meters on the East and South coasts, and 0.5 to 3.0 meters on the West coast. In offshore areas (within approximately 200 kilometers from the coastline), wave heights are expected to be 1.0 to 4.0 meters in the East Sea, 1.0 to 3.5 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 3.5 meters in the South Sea.
