The event was attended by Kim Kwangyeol, Mayor of Yeongdeok County; Kim Seongho, Chairman of the Yeongdeok County Council; Son Byeongil, Secretary General of the Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea; as well as heads of local organizations and institutions, members of the Yeongdeok County Fruit of Love Volunteer Group, and other key figures from various sectors.

The ceremony began with a congratulatory performance, followed by the official launch declaration, awards for distinguished donors and volunteers, the unveiling of the 'Love Thermometer' tower, and on-site fundraising activities.

In particular, Lee Yonggyo, Ji Mansu, and Jeon Soyoung-volunteer group members who have consistently practiced sharing for the region’s marginalized neighbors-received the Fruit of Love Distinguished Service Award. Six local businesses that have operated as 'Good Stores' for over ten years-Yewon Environment, Alpha Stationery, Big Mama, Yeongnam Clinic, Jeil Pharmacy, and Goeun Pharmacy-were also presented with plaques of appreciation.

Additionally, Cheon Soyoung, Deputy Manager at the Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea, was selected as an outstanding contributor to county administration and received a commendation from the mayor. The event also included the delivery of 104.1 million won in distribution funds for the 2025 'Warm Winter Support Project' organized by the Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea, and 75 million won for the 'Vehicle Support Grant Project,' further highlighting the significance of sharing for the advancement of local welfare.

Mayor Kim Kwangyeol stated, "When small acts of sharing come together, they can create great change," and urged, "Through this campaign, I hope that warmth and hope can be delivered to those in need, and I ask for your interest and participation."

Yeongdeok County has set a fundraising goal of 306 million won for this campaign, the same as last year, and will carry out activities for 62 days until January 31 next year.

Donations will be accepted at the county office and nine township and town administrative welfare centers at all times. The county also plans to continue street promotions and intensive fundraising activities in collaboration with related organizations.
