Cellumed Secures 4.1 Billion KRW Facility Construction Contract for Subsidiary HwanKyung ENG

Cellumed, a company specializing in the manufacturing of bio-medical devices, announced on December 4 that its construction subsidiary, HwanKyung ENG, has secured a 4.1 billion KRW contract for the renovation of a major department store in Daegu, continuing its streak of large-scale project wins.

The department store is undergoing a major renovation to significantly expand its space, with full-scale construction scheduled to begin next year. HwanKyung ENG will be responsible for core facility processes such as heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, further solidifying its position in the commercial facility installation sector.

HwanKyung ENG, a key subsidiary of Cellumed, has been designated as an "excellent partner" by leading domestic construction companies based on its proven expertise in mechanical and fire protection systems. Last year, the company surpassed 100 billion KRW in sales, marking its highest performance since its founding. This year, it has continued to win major projects such as the LH Land & Housing Corporation's Wonju apartment complex and Korean Air's Terminal 2 IOC project, achieving cumulative sales of 92.6 billion KRW as of the third quarter.

With an order backlog of approximately 140 billion KRW, the company is on track to surpass last year's record-breaking performance and achieve its highest-ever annual sales. Cellumed is also expected to set a new record for consolidated annual sales this year, driven by aggressive order expansion at HwanKyung ENG and increased production and sales in its medical device division.

A representative from Cellumed stated, "We were able to participate in this project based on our experience in facility construction for large-scale sites such as apartments and shopping malls. We plan to steadily expand our references in large commercial facilities through this contract and will strive to maintain a sustainable profit structure through stable profit and risk management."
