Police Tracking Author of Stabbing Threat Post at Dongduk Women's University Amid Coeducation Transition

The police are currently tracking down the author of an online post that threatened a stabbing incident at Dongduk Women's University, following the recent decision to transition the university to a coeducational institution.

On December 3, Yonhap News Agency reported, "The Namdaemun Police Station in Seoul received a report this afternoon that a post predicting a stabbing at Dongduk Women's University had been uploaded online, and officers are now pursuing the author." The reported post allegedly included an English sentence stating, "I am ready to go to school," along with a photo of a knife placed inside a bag.

On the same day, Dongduk Women's University announced in a statement from the university president that the school will transition to a coeducational institution starting in 2029.
