The "Integrated Reservation System Establishment," selected as the best case, received high praise for significantly improving user convenience by consolidating previously fragmented administrative reservation procedures into a single interface.

Outstanding awards were given to: ▲ the "Cost-Effective Tourism Activation Case," which attracted 100,000 visitors by linking innovative culinary planning with tourism; and ▲ the improvement of living infrastructure by bringing electricity for the first time in 70 years to Gakgeum Village, a remote mountain community in Bonghwa.

Other recognized cases included: ▲ a large-scale mobile consumer coupon project that virtually reduced civil complaint waiting times to zero, representing a service innovation; ▲ the establishment of a rapid 24-hour wildlife roadkill removal system based on public-private cooperation; and ▲ the transformation of the unused Bonghwa Intercity Bus Terminal into a community hub for local communication, exemplifying spatial innovation.

The county explained that these selected cases are particularly meaningful for administrative innovation, as they directly impact residents' daily lives, from improving convenience and activating tourism to enhancing environments in vulnerable areas. The recognized officials will receive a citation from the governor and a monetary award, and their achievements will be shared across all departments to further promote a culture of active administration.

Park Hyunkook, Governor of Bonghwa County, stated, "Active administration is the most powerful tool for creating real change in residents' lives," adding, "We will further accelerate transformation in Bonghwa County through administration that embraces challenge and execution."

These cases reaffirm that the county government is focused on delivering "tangible, perceptible change." There is growing anticipation for the further transformations that proactive public officials will bring by resolving everyday inconveniences and strengthening the region's competitiveness.
