The Tap Water Quality Evaluation Committee consists of nine members, including the Deputy County Governor, representatives from the Jinan County Village Leaders’ Association, and water quality experts. The committee is responsible for evaluating and announcing water quality inspection results, as well as providing advice on water quality improvement measures.

During this meeting, the results of the 2025 water quality inspections, reports on related project achievements, plans for next year's water quality inspections, and major water supply projects were presented. A Q&A session on overall tap water management was also held.

Jinan County's tap water received a 'compliant' rating in all stages of water quality inspection throughout 2025, including raw water at the purification plant, purified water, and water at the supply stage.

The county has strengthened the foundation for providing safe and clean tap water by implementing a range of improvement projects, such as establishing an emergency supply network for local waterworks, renovating aging water supply systems, upgrading purification plant facilities, and regularly flushing water supply pipelines.

The committee members positively evaluated the ongoing renovation of aging water supply systems and improvements to purification plants, and they urged the county to continue thorough water quality management and systematic improvement planning to ensure residents can drink tap water with confidence.

A county official stated, "We will carefully review the suggestions made by the Tap Water Quality Evaluation Committee and actively reflect them in our water supply administration," adding, "We will do our utmost to ensure that residents always have access to clean and safe tap water."

Meanwhile, to enhance public trust in tap water, the county publishes monthly water quality inspection results on its website and issues an annual 'Tap Water Quality Report' to inform residents about the safety and management status of the water supply.
