Taihan Cable announced on December 3 that it participated in the opening ceremony of the "Hope 2026 Sharing Campaign" fundraising event to help neighbors, held in Dangjin-where the company’s production bases are located-on December 2, and donated 10 million won.

This fundraising initiative was organized to promote a culture of sharing and to support underprivileged members of the local community. The opening ceremony was attended by Oh Seunghwan, Mayor of Dangjin, Sung Woojong, Chairman of the Chungnam Community Chest of Korea, Kim Sejun, Executive Director of External Cooperation at Taihan Cable, and other officials.
The "Hope Sharing Campaign," hosted and organized annually by Dangjin City, the Dangjin Welfare Foundation, and the Chungnam Community Chest of Korea, is an event designed to spread the culture of sharing and deliver warmth to neighbors in need. Intensive fundraising will take place over two months until January 31 next year, and the collected donations and sponsorship items will be provided to households in need, such as emergency support for families in crisis, care and living stability support for vulnerable groups including elderly people living alone and people with disabilities.
Taihan Cable is actively engaged in various initiatives to contribute to the local community in Dangjin, where its cable and submarine cable factories are located. In March, the company participated in a tree-planting event organized by Dangjin City for Arbor Day, and in September, it helped local farmers by harvesting sweet potatoes. In addition, Taihan Cable is delivering warmth to the community through diverse social contribution programs, including the "One Company, One Coastal Area" campaign, endangered species protection activities, support for children's education, and assistance for local farmers.
