"Adding Happiness Through Giving, Transforming Chilgok Through Donations"
On December 1, Chilgok County in North Gyeongsang Province held the launch ceremony for the "Hope 2026 Sharing Campaign" under the slogan "Adding Happiness Through Giving, Transforming Chilgok Through Donations" at the front yard of the Chilgok County Office.
The "Hope 2026 Sharing Campaign" is a year-end fundraising event for supporting neighbors in need, organized by the North Gyeongsang Social Welfare Community Chest and sponsored by Chilgok County. The campaign will run for 62 days, from December 1, 2025, to January 31, 2026.
At the launch ceremony, Chilgok County Governor Kim Jaewook made the first donation, followed by contributions from Lee Sangseung, Chairman of the Chilgok County Council, and other distinguished guests in attendance.
This year, in particular, the Youth Family Volunteer Group donated proceeds from their "Anabada" (Save, Share, Exchange, Reuse) sale, further promoting the culture of sharing.
Governor Kim Jaewook stated, "Although everyone is facing difficulties due to the economic downturn, I sincerely ask for the warm participation of public institutions, related organizations, and groups to help neighbors in need."
Starting with the launch ceremony, Chilgok County is accepting donations and goods at the county office and town and township offices. Participation is easy and secure through bank transfer, QR code, or ARS phone call.
