The Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Lim Chaecheong) announced on November 28 that HYBE Music Group APAC had donated 500 million won (approximately 2.66 million Hong Kong dollars) in memory of the victims of the high-rise apartment fire tragedy in Hong Kong.
The donation from HYBE Music Group APAC will be used to support the families of the fire tragedy victims through a Hong Kong-based nonprofit organization.
Six labels under HYBE Music Group APAC (Big Hit Music, Belift Lab, Source Music, Pledis Entertainment, KOZ Entertainment, and ADOR) expressed their condolences, stating, "We extend our deepest sympathies to those who tragically lost their lives in the Hong Kong fire incident. We sincerely offer our heartfelt comfort to everyone experiencing shock and sorrow due to this sudden accident. We hope the damage will be swiftly resolved and that the community can soon return to normal life."
Yoo Dongjoo, CEO of HYBE Music Group APAC, said, "We express our deepest condolences and sympathy to all those affected by the fire. We hope this contribution will provide at least some help to those going through a difficult time, and we wish for a speedy recovery from the disaster."
Shin Hoon, Secretary General of Hope Bridge, stated, "We are grateful to HYBE Music Group APAC for their donation to support those suffering from the Hong Kong fire. The donated funds will be used with care for the bereaved families."
