On November 26, Jeonnam Social Service Institute announced that it had received the '3 Consecutive Years Recognition' and the 'Special Award in Social Contribution' at the '2025 Community Contribution Recognition System,' hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea National Council on Social Welfare.

The Community Contribution Recognition System is a program that evaluates companies and organizations that have contributed to the improvement of community welfare through cooperation with non-profit organizations.

Each year, recognized companies are selected based on a comprehensive review of their performance in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) areas, as well as their social contribution strategies, implementation systems, and achievements.

Jeonnam Social Service Institute received high marks for its diverse social contribution activities, including addressing welfare blind spots in the province, strengthening the capabilities of social welfare workers and facilities, and expanding local talent recruitment.

In particular, the institute’s social contribution activities have been recognized for making a tangible difference in stabilizing the lives and improving the welfare of vulnerable groups in the community.

The institute has consistently engaged in meal service volunteering at Mokpo Disabled Welfare Center, Mokpo E-Land Senior Welfare Center, and Jeonnam Disabled Welfare Center. It has also carried out various sharing activities, such as delivering daily necessities to flood victims in Damyang County, which was designated as a special disaster area due to heavy rainfall, as well as to vulnerable groups in the community.

In addition, employees have voluntarily participated in blood donation campaigns for life-sharing and donated goods to Beautiful Store, contributing to the spread of a sharing culture in the local community.

A representative from Jeonnam Social Service Institute stated, "Receiving the three-year consecutive certification and the special award is a meaningful achievement for our sharing activities with the community," and added, "We will continue to expand our social contribution efforts to eliminate welfare blind spots and support residents throughout the province."
