Gwangju Sharing Fruit of Love Surpasses 90 Nanum Hero Members in Dong-gu

The Gwangju Community Chest of Korea announced on November 26 that the number of members who have joined the Nanum Hero group, a club for donors who contribute more than 1 million won to the Sharing Fruit of Love in Dong-gu, Gwangju, has surpassed 90.

On November 25, the 8th Our Neighborhood Nanum Hero Plaque Award Ceremony was held in the situation room of the Dong-gu District Office. At the event, plaques were presented to a total of 17 recipients.

Our Neighborhood Nanum Hero is a campaign that awards plaques to individuals and organizations that make a one-time donation of more than 1 million won. The campaign, which aims to address welfare blind spots and promote a culture of sharing, has been underway since April and will continue until the end of the year.

Gwangju Sharing Fruit of Love Chairman Koo Jaegil said, "I sincerely thank all the Nanum Heroes who have participated in this warm act of sharing," adding, "We will continue to do our best to spread the culture of sharing for a warmer local community."

Meanwhile, in the Gwangju area, Im Taek, head of Dong-gu District Office, was the first to join as a Nanum Hero.
