Disabled Veterans Association, Bereaved Families of Fallen Soldiers Association, and Widows of Fallen Soldiers Association
The three veterans organizations in Yangsan City gathered for a moving comfort event, which concluded successfully.
Yangsan City in South Gyeongsang Province announced that the 2025 Comfort Event for the Three Veterans Organizations of Yangsan City (Disabled Veterans Association, Bereaved Families of Fallen Soldiers Association, and Widows of Fallen Soldiers Association) was held successfully on the 26th at the M Convention Buffet.
This comfort event for veterans organizations was jointly hosted by the Yangsan City Disabled Veterans Association, Bereaved Families of Fallen Soldiers Association, and Widows of Fallen Soldiers Association, with support from Yangsan City. Approximately 350 veterans’ families attended, spending meaningful time together as they exchanged greetings and interacted with one another.
The event consisted of two parts: the first part was a commemorative ceremony, and the second part was a comfort program. The commemorative ceremony began with the national pledge, followed by congratulatory remarks, the presentation of commendations, and congratulatory speeches. The second part featured a luncheon and a lively comfort performance, providing enjoyment for all attendees.
A Yangsan City official stated, "We extend our deepest gratitude and respect to the national merit recipients and their families for their dedication to our country, and we hope this event offers some comfort for the hardships and adversity you have endured." The official added, "We will continue to strengthen our support and recognition for national merit recipients and their families, striving to realize a warm and caring veterans administration that honors your service."
