Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation Holds "Electric Vehicle Fire Safety Training" for Firefighters on the 25th

On November 25, the Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation conducted the "On-Site Basic Training for Electric Vehicle Maintenance Workers" at Gwacheon Fire Station. This training was organized to enhance the on-site response capabilities of public safety personnel as the adoption of electric vehicles continues to expand.

The training was provided to approximately 50 firefighting personnel from Gwacheon Fire Station and neighboring areas, and was carried out as a pilot project for public service workers in the province.

The curriculum focused on equipping participants with the ability to respond to technological changes in electric vehicles and covered the fundamentals of high-voltage safety management.

The Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation expects that this training will strengthen proactive response capabilities for special situations such as electric vehicle fires. In particular, the foundation believes it will improve public sector workers' understanding of high-voltage safety management for the safety and welfare of citizens, as well as contribute to establishing a safety management system for electric vehicles in the province.

Lee Jinhui, Director of the Convergence Talent Headquarters at the Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation, stated, "Electric vehicles are an eco-friendly future technology, but they also present new safety challenges. We will continue to expand basic training related to electric vehicles to further enhance the practical response capabilities of on-site workers."
