Reevaluating the Strategic Value of LNG
Industry Outlook, Technology Trends, and Response Strategies Discussed
On November 25, Samil PricewaterhouseCoopers announced that it will host a seminar titled "Rediscovering LNG in the Era of Energy Transition" at 2 p.m. on December 11 at Amore Hall, located on the second floor of its headquarters in Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
As global decarbonization trends and the need for energy security are emerging simultaneously, the strategic value of liquefied natural gas (LNG) is drawing attention. This is due to expectations that LNG will serve as a "bridge fuel" for the transition to renewable energy. In particular, South Korea urgently needs to establish a balanced energy strategy to expand renewable energy and achieve its carbon neutrality goals.
This seminar is designed to provide an in-depth analysis and discussion of LNG's new role and the outlook for power generation projects during the energy transition. The seminar will consist of two sessions: ▲ The New Role of LNG ▲ Concerns and Expectations for LNG Power Generation.

I hope that this discussion, which re-examines the role of LNG, will serve as an important starting point for designing the future energy market."
Those wishing to attend can register on the Samil PricewaterhouseCoopers website until December 8. Advance questions are also being accepted and will be addressed during the panel discussion sessions.
