Suwon City in Gyeonggi Province will conduct an inspection of disaster response and support systems for underground-connected complex buildings until December 12.
On November 25, Suwon City announced that, in accordance with Article 21 of the High-Rise Disaster Management Act, it will jointly inspect the disaster response and support systems of underground-connected complex buildings with the Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters, Suwon Nambu Fire Station, and Suwon Fire Station.

The main items to be inspected include: whether disaster prevention and damage mitigation plans have been established; whether a general disaster manager has been appointed; the installation and operational management status of integrated disaster prevention control rooms; the installation of evacuation safety zones; and the formation, education, and training status of initial response teams.
An official from Suwon City stated, "We will request corrections for any issues identified during the inspection process and will continuously monitor whether improvements are made."
