[Click e-Stock] "P&S Robotics to Benefit from Growth in Rehabilitation Robot Market"

On November 25, Korea Investment & Securities predicted that P&S Robotics is poised to benefit as the global rehabilitation robot market experiences rapid growth.

Yoon Cheolhwan, a researcher at Korea Investment & Securities, stated, "Recently, a 'replacement demand market' has been forming in the rehabilitation robot sector due to the aging of existing products," adding, "A competitor, Company D, has recently been notified of delisting from Nasdaq due to financial and operational issues."

He continued, "We expect P&S Robotics to benefit from this situation," and projected, "The rehabilitation robot market is expected to grow at an average annual rate of 27.2%." He further emphasized, "P&S Robotics is expected to fully capitalize on this trend, supported by its solid financial position and high contribution margin."

He noted, "Last month, at 'MEDICA 2025,' the world's largest medical device exhibition, the company unveiled its 'Healerbot.' By adding an upper extremity orthopedic product lineup to its existing lower limb rehabilitation-focused portfolio, domestic sales are also expected to increase."

In the third quarter of this year, P&S Robotics recorded sales of 800 million won and an operating loss of 800 million won. Sales decreased by 45.0% compared to the same period last year, and operating profit turned to a loss.

Researcher Yoon explained, "The company temporarily posted weak results due to delays in product deliveries to new clients. However, since there were no issues with product manufacturing or inventory recognition, the delayed volumes will be gradually recognized as sales."

He added, "The company is continuously hiring personnel to strengthen its business operations. With quarterly SG&A expenses maintained at around 1 billion won, the fourth quarter, which is a seasonally strong period, is expected to see the highest annual performance as deferred sales from the third quarter are added."
