Song Eon-seok, floor leader of the People Power Party, criticized Kim Yongbeom, Chief Presidential Secretary for Policy, during the National Assembly Steering Committee on the 23rd, stating, "He must immediately apologize and clarify his responsible course of action" after Kim raised his voice.

On the same day, Song wrote on his social media (Facebook), "Pointing fingers and shouting at a National Assembly member who is questioning on behalf of the people is not merely an expression of emotion, but a grave act that insults the representative institution of the people," expressing his criticism.

Song further argued, "Kim's actions clearly demonstrated how this administration treats the people," adding, "The careless words and actions of public officials in the Lee Jaemyung administration, who look down on the people, have reached a serious level."

He also emphasized, "We must once again remember that public office is not a position to wield power, but a position to serve the entire public."

Previously, on the 18th, Kim raised his voice in protest during the National Assembly Steering Committee when an opposition lawmaker mentioned his daughter, who lives in a jeonse rental, while raising suspicions about gap investment.
