Collaboration with Science Museums, Local Governments, and Observatories Nationwide
"Aerospace Talk Concert" Programs Engage the Next Generation
Talk concerts and hands-on programs supporting the success of the 4th Nuriho launch will be held across the country starting November 22.
The Space Agency announced on the 21st that it will operate participatory programs in collaboration with science museums, local governments, and observatories nationwide. The aim is to wish for the successful launch together with the public and to further promote the process of aerospace development.
On the 22nd, the "Aerospace Talk Concert" will be held simultaneously at five national science museums across the country: the National Gwacheon Science Museum, National Science Museum, National Daegu Science Museum, National Busan Science Museum, and National Gwangju Science Museum.
The event will introduce the history of rocket development and the latest satellite development processes. There will also be a presentation by the winner of the CubeSat competition, whose satellite will be launched on the 4th Nuriho mission, providing an opportunity for current and former researchers and youth to gather and discuss the future of space development.
On the same day, the "Nuri Space Festival" will take place at the National Gwacheon Science Museum starting at 10 a.m. Activities include mini rocket building and launching, mini exploration rover building, and an AR (augmented reality) Nuriho experience, all operated by the Korea Science and Space Youth Group. University student supporters will also put on a performance wishing for the success of the Nuriho launch.
On this day, the Space Agency will also host the "Sacheon Space Lounge" in cooperation with Sacheon City. At the Sacheon City Library, there will be exhibitions of aerospace equipment and booths for hands-on experiences such as building mini exploration rovers and satellites. At 2 p.m., an expert and a science communicator will give a lecture on the theme "Those Who Made Space, Us Living in Space."

Then, on the 27th, the "Goheung KASA Mission Talk Talk" will be held at the National Youth Space Center. This is an interactive program where Space Agency researchers meet directly with youth and citizens to share career paths and research and development processes in the field of aerospace.
Various programs linked to the 4th Nuriho launch will continue nationwide until November 30. Region-specific hands-on events will also be held, such as the "Nuriho Launch Experience Simulator" at Daejeon Citizen Observatory, the "Nuri Observation Festival" at the National Gwangju Science Museum, and a special astronomical observation program at the Busan Geumryeonsan Youth Training Center. For information and registration for nationwide linked programs, please refer to the event page on "spaceculture.com."
Commissioner Yoon Youngbin stated, "The nationwide linked programs are part of efforts to expand the base of aerospace culture by bringing the Nuriho launch preparations and research and development activities closer to the public. We will continue to strive to ensure that the public can experience the achievements of aerospace development, not only through research and development but also through cultural and educational programs."
