IGAWorks announced on November 20 that its artificial intelligence (AI) creative solution, "Fixtype," has been used in the production of actual advertisements for major global brands just 10 months after its launch, signaling the full-scale commercial adoption of AI advertising.


Launched in December last year, Fixtype has produced campaigns for more than 40 brands and even created a 100% AI-generated commercial that aired on television in Korea. Broadcast commercials must pass both internal brand review and media screening, and require a consistent tone and quality throughout the video, making a high level of completion essential.

Recently, the market has seen the emergence of numerous low-cost AI video production services, attracting significant attention. However, automatically generated videos face limitations in meeting essential requirements for commercial advertising, such as product detail accuracy, scene continuity, and adherence to brand guidelines. In contrast, Fixtype is an AI studio designed from the outset to meet commercial advertising standards, delivering results suitable for actual media placement.


IGAWorks explained that the effectiveness of Fixtype AI advertising has been proven by results. For example, the vitamin brand Haroutine produced about 80% of its TV commercial using AI, resulting in a sales increase of over 900% compared to the previous month. The slipper brand Bark utilized AI-based 3D human body visualization to create scenes that were previously difficult to film, leading to a more than threefold increase in both search volume and direct mall sales.


Currently, Fixtype is being used in campaigns for major domestic and international brands such as CJ CheilJedang, Koryo Eundan, Dorco, NH Nonghyup Capital, Dong-A Pharmaceutical, Com2uS, and 11st. In addition, through the Seoul Center for Creative Economy & Innovation program, Fixtype was selected as the final AI advertising production partner for global company P&G, and is now collaborating on global brand campaigns.


Han Seungsoo, Head of Business for Fixtype, stated, "Broadcast advertising is an area where brands actually spend their budgets, so every scene must meet verification standards. Fixtype is expanding its application to global campaigns based on a production approach that satisfies these commercial standards."
