Seeking More Than Just Youth Facilities... National Operations Directors’ Training Held at Grandmoment

160 Directors Gather Nationwide
Awards, Recognition, Talk Concerts, and Special Lectures Enrich the Program

Grandmoment Youth Hostel concluded the 2025 Youth Facility Operations Directors’ Training Program, which was held over two days starting on November 18.


Hosted by the Korea Youth Facility Association (President Kwon Ilnam), the training brought together 160 operations directors from youth facilities across the country for the "Operations Directors’ Training Program."

Seeking More Than Just Youth Facilities... National Operations Directors’ Training Held at Grandmoment Park Sooyoung, Managing Director of Grandmoment Youth Hostel, is receiving a certificate of appreciation.

The event, held at the Classic Hall of Grandmoment Youth Hostel, featured an awards ceremony recognizing outstanding contributors to youth facilities and presentations of exemplary operation cases (with the Grand Prize awarded to Seongdong Youth Center and the Excellence Award to Miryang Youth Center, among others). In addition, a talk concert was held to discuss the direction and key aspects of youth policy changes following the launch of the new government, as well as ways to apply these changes in the field.


During the talk concert, Kwon Ilnam, President of the Korea Youth Facility Association, served as moderator. Panelists included Choi Changuk, Vice President of the Korea Youth Policy Institute; Yoon Taehan, member of the Busan Metropolitan Council; Park Yongseong, President of the Busan Youth Facility Association; and Kim Seongsuk, President of the Gyeongsangnam-do Youth Facility Association.


Additional programs included a special lecture on youth facility safety policy by Cheon Wangwoo, Director of the Activity Safety Department at the Korea Youth Work Agency, and a special lecture on supporting youth development through local community networks by Kim Hokyeom, former Executive Advisor of the Korea Ginseng Corporation Sports Team.


A certificate of appreciation was also presented to Grandmoment Youth Hostel (Managing Director Park Sooyoung), which has been leading the revitalization of youth activities in the Busan area.


Kwon Ilnam, President of the Korea Youth Facility Association, stated, "The Operations Directors’ Training Program is an important opportunity to enhance our ability to respond to changes in youth policy and to unite the voices of youth activity practitioners nationwide."


He emphasized, "The expertise of facility operators and regional cooperation are becoming increasingly important in creating an environment where young people can grow up happily."


The Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, Korea Youth Work Agency, Busan Youth Facility Association, MG Saemaul Geumgo Community Hope Sharing Foundation, Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance, and Boram Sangjo Life, among others, participated as sponsors for this training program.
