Cheongdo County (Governor Kim Hasu) was honored to receive the 'Excellence Award' in the Gyeongsangbuk-do Volunteer City and County Evaluation at the '2025 Gyeongsangbuk-do Volunteer Conference' held at the Yeongcheon City Indoor Gymnasium on November 19.
The evaluation was conducted comprehensively based on various criteria such as the level of participation in volunteer activities aimed at strengthening volunteer capacity, outstanding policies for promoting volunteerism, and implementation achievements. Cheongdo County has a record of winning awards 11 times in this evaluation, including the Grand Prize, Top Excellence, and Excellence Awards.
Hong Bongok, Director of the Volunteer Center, stated, "This year, we were able to achieve meaningful results thanks to the many volunteers who worked together for the local community. We will continue to do our best to ensure that volunteers can feel proud of their activities."
Kim Hasu, Governor of Cheongdo County, said, "Winning the Excellence Award was possible thanks to the volunteers who quietly fulfilled their roles behind the scenes throughout the year. We will continue to do our utmost to create a happy Cheongdo County by promoting volunteerism."
