Opening Remarks at the 2025 Next 100 Forum

Park Sangjin, Chairman of Korea Development Bank, stated, "We will focus all our capabilities to support industrial innovation and corporate growth in response to the challenges of our time."

On the afternoon of the 19th, during his opening remarks at the '2025 Next 100 Forum' held at the Conrad Hotel in Seoul, Chairman Park said, "I hope that today's event will serve as a foundation for overcoming the era of extreme uncertainty and achieving genuine growth for Korea."

He also emphasized that, in preparation for this era of extreme uncertainty, he would seek to establish a virtuous cycle between industry and finance and explore the roles and direction of policy finance to help companies continuously strengthen their competitiveness.

He added, "Through the successful operation of the National Growth Fund, we will provide timely funding for advanced strategic industries such as artificial intelligence (AI), semiconductors, secondary batteries, and biohealth. We will also faithfully play the role of priming the market to ensure that private investment flows smoothly into the innovation ecosystem."
