On November 18, Incheon International Airport Corporation announced on the 19th that it had carried out a joint volunteer activity with its subsidiaries at Hyerimwon, located on Jangbongdo Island in Ongjin County, Incheon, to improve the environment of local welfare facilities in preparation for the winter season. Hyerimwon is a welfare facility for people with intellectual and severe disabilities.
This volunteer activity at Hyerimwon was held for the second time, following last year. About 40 professionals from the Infrastructure Headquarters of Incheon International Airport Corporation and Incheon Airport Facilities Management Co., Ltd. participated in the event.

On that day, the volunteers utilized their expertise in various fields to carry out maintenance activities such as cleaning the surroundings of Hyerimwon, exterior painting, landscaping, and wallpapering and ceiling papering at the senior citizens' center, thereby creating a safe and pleasant facility environment to prepare for the cold winter season.
Lee Hakjae, President of Incheon International Airport Corporation, stated, "We hope that this joint volunteer activity will provide even a small amount of help for the underprivileged in the local community to have a warm winter.
