Comprehensive Strategies for a Sustainable Investment City
Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi Province will host the '2025 Hwaseong Special City Investment Attraction Strategy Forum' at the Dongtan 2 Incubating Center on December 5.
This forum, held under the theme 'Hwaseong Special City, the Next Step Toward Becoming a City People Want to Invest In,' is the city's first-ever investment attraction strategy forum.
The forum has been organized to seek sustainable growth engines for investment, building on the city's achievements in attracting investments to date.
At the forum, Kim Gwangseok, Head of Economic Research at the Korea Economic and Industrial Research Institute, will deliver a special lecture on the topic 'Leap to a Global Investment Cluster City: How to Attract Companies?'
The following session will feature a presentation by Hong Sahum, Research Fellow at the Korea Research Institute for Human Settlements, on 'Paradigm Shift in Hwaseong Special City's Investment Attraction Toward Becoming a Super-Gap City,' followed by a panel discussion with six experts.
The forum is open to businesspeople, related organizations, experts, public officials, and interested citizens. Participants can register in advance by scanning the QR code on the poster.
Cho Hanyong, Head of the Investment Promotion Division of Hwaseong City, said, "This forum is an opportunity to review the current status of investment attraction and explore ways to improve the investment environment in ways that companies can truly feel." He added, "We will lay the foundation for Hwaseong to become 'a city people want to invest in' through cooperation among businesses, experts, and the administration."
