"Stop Child Abuse" ... Changwon Special City Launches 'Along with Child Abuse Prevention' Campaign

Raising Awareness of Child Protection Among Employees

On November 19, Changwon Special City held the 'Energetic Commute! Along with Child Abuse Prevention' campaign in the main lobby of City Hall, in collaboration with the Changwon Child Protection Agency, to mark 'Child Abuse Prevention Day' (November 19) and Child Abuse Prevention Week.

This campaign was organized to raise awareness among City Hall employees about the importance of preventing child abuse and to foster a social atmosphere in which children are respected.


At the event, leaflets and promotional materials containing information on child abuse prevention and proper parenting methods were distributed to help employees easily understand the information and put it into practice in their daily lives.


Jang Geumyong, Acting Mayor of Changwon Special City, stated, "Through this campaign, I hope all citizens will recognize the importance of preventing child abuse and work together to create an environment where children can grow up happily." He added, "We will continue to promote various policies to protect children's rights and improve their welfare."


Meanwhile, starting with the 'Energetic Commute! Along with Child Abuse Prevention' campaign, Changwon Special City plans to continue child abuse prevention activities at various district offices, including Masan Station Plaza Park, together with the police, the Changwon Child Protection Agency, and the Changwon Child Committee Council. The city aims to build 'Child-Friendly Changwon,' where children can grow up safely and happily, by spreading a culture of child protection in which citizens participate together.
