"You Killed Her" Tops Netflix Global Rankings Thanks to Word of Mouth

The Korean thriller "You Killed Her" has gained momentum through word of mouth. Although it ranked eighth in its first week on the Netflix viewership chart, it reached the top spot within just two weeks.

According to Netflix's official website Tudum on November 19, the series recorded 7.8 million views from November 10 to 16, making it the most-watched show across both non-English and English categories.

"You Killed Her" is a Netflix series starring Lee Yumi and Jeon Soni, based on the Japanese novel "Naomi and Kanako" by Hideo Okuda. The story follows Eunsoo Cho, who lives with trauma from her father's domestic violence, and Heesoo Cho, who suffers abuse from her husband, as they conspire to commit murder.

First released on November 7, the series ranked eighth among non-English shows in its debut week, but climbed to the top spot in its second week thanks to strong word of mouth. It claimed the number one non-English show position in twenty countries, including Bolivia, Chile, Egypt, the Philippines, Vietnam, and South Korea.

Meanwhile, in the non-English show category, SBS's new Wednesday-Thursday drama "Kiss, So What!" ranked third with 6.1 million views, while the variety show "Physical: Asia" placed eighth with 2.5 million views.
