Hyosung Group Appoints 29 Executives Including 3 Vice Presidents

Focusing on Global Achievers Amid Uncertainty
Promoting Executives in Their 30s and Female Leaders to Energize the Organization
Commitment to Overseas Expansion in Core Businesses such as Spandex, Power, and Construction

On November 19, Hyosung Group announced its regular executive appointments, promoting Bae Inhan, Head of Hyosung TNC Dongnai Corporation, Bae Yongbae, Head of Hyosung Heavy Industries Nantong Corporation in China, and Park Namyong, Head of Construction at Hyosung Heavy Industries, to Vice President, among a total of 29 executive appointments.

Bae Inhan joined the Hyosung R&D Center in 1989 and participated in the development and production of spandex. He played a key role in expanding major hubs in Vietnam, China, and India, contributing to establishing spandex as the world's leading product. Since 2023, he has been overseeing Hyosung TNC's global business as the Head of the Dongnai Corporation.

Bae Yongbae is an expert who has built technical expertise in the design and production of ultra-high voltage transformers since joining Hyosung Heavy Industries in 1993. After serving as Head of Domestic Sales, he has led the Nantong Corporation in China since 2023. His leadership in driving the overseas expansion of the power business is cited as the reason for his promotion.

Park Namyong, Vice President of Hyosung Heavy Industries, is a construction expert who joined Hyosung Construction in 1990 and has experience ranging from on-site construction to sales and marketing. Since 2022, he has been leading the construction organization at Hyosung Heavy Industries and is credited with laying the foundation for its growth.

Hyosung further strengthened the generational shift with these appointments. Jeon Jaeha, Head of Hyosung Heavy Industries Sydney Branch, who was promoted early to department head last year, has now been appointed as a new executive in his 30s. He was recognized for pioneering new power markets in Australia and the Oceania region.

The appointment of female talent was also expanded. Executive Director Kim Sujeong joined Hyosung TNS in 2011 and has been responsible for product planning and overseas marketing. Since 2021, she has been leading the marketing team at the Overseas Sales Division. Executive Director An Jeonghee joined Hyosung TNC in 2016 and is credited with driving the expansion of overseas business focused on the Southeast Asian market in the steel plate division.
