This program is a monthly regular educational session designed to enhance residents’ understanding by explaining the key stages and important considerations of redevelopment and reconstruction maintenance projects. It aims to help residents become familiar with the procedures and systems so they can participate proactively.

In this session, a certified tax accountant will serve as the instructor, providing practical case-based explanations on ‘Tax-Saving Strategies for Maintenance Projects’ and major tax issues that arise during the process. A Q&A session will also be held to address participants’ questions. The program is free of charge, and registration can be completed by scanning the QR code on the promotional poster or by calling the Yeongdeungpo Redevelopment and Reconstruction Counseling Center.

Currently, Yeongdeungpo District is actively promoting more than 80 maintenance projects and is supporting project progress and providing residents with specialized information through two Yeongdeungpo Redevelopment and Reconstruction Counseling Centers. The centers are located on the first floor of the Singil 5-dong Community Center and the second floor of the Mokhwa Village Vitality Center in Mullae-dong, and are open for in-person and phone consultations from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays. As of October this year, they have provided 3,838 consultations and held 27 educational sessions.

Choi Hokwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, stated, “I hope this session will clearly resolve any questions regarding tax-saving strategies for redevelopment and reconstruction maintenance projects,” adding, “We will continue to strengthen educational and counseling programs for residents to ensure that accurate information is easily accessible.”
