Homecast Teams Up with Genesis Lab to Launch Full-Scale AI Transformation Business

Homecast, a company specializing in semiconductor sales and digital services (CEO Kwon Youngcheol), announced on November 17 that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Genesis Lab, an AI specialist firm led by CEO Lee Youngbok, and will make a full-scale entry into the AX (AI Transformation) business.

Through this partnership, Homecast has signed a white-label supply agreement for Genesis Lab’s AI agent development platform, Agentria. The white-label model enables the technology platform provider and a market-specialized partner to collaborate and deliver optimal solutions to customers. Homecast plans to apply its own brand to Agentria, sell the solution, and offer consulting and implementation services together.

Agentria is an enterprise-grade builder platform that helps companies easily develop and operate AI agents. The platform allows users to design and deploy AI agents through an intuitive interface without requiring complex coding or advanced development skills. It also supports API integration, on-premises deployment, and test and monitoring features for ongoing performance management.

Genesis Lab, the developer of this platform, was recognized for its technology by winning the "2023 AI Reliability Quality Award" from the Ministry of Science and ICT. The company currently supplies HR-related AI solutions to more than 250 organizations, including LG Group, Hyundai Department Store Group, and the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps.

AI agents are widely used for customer service, work automation, and data analysis, and demand is surging as global companies pursue digital innovation. Homecast plans to leverage its corporate client base and commercialization experience, combined with Genesis Lab’s proven technology, to strengthen its position in the rapidly growing AI agent market.

Homecast is also pursuing a healthcare business utilizing Genesis Lab’s AI-based mental health analysis technology. Developed in collaboration with Seoul National University Hospital, this technology analyzes video and audio data to enable individuals to self-assess their mental health and receive guidance for management.

Additionally, the company is discussing a strategic alliance with C-Bio Group, a major domestic medical institution, based on this technology. Homecast also plans to develop and validate business models with domestic healthcare companies before seeking expansion into overseas markets, including the Middle East. The company explained that this move is in response to growing social interest in mental health and the expansion of the AI-based self-management service market with professional assessment capabilities.

A Homecast official stated, "This partnership with Genesis Lab marks a crucial turning point for us to become a company based on AI technology," adding, "We will build new revenue models and establish a sustainable growth foundation centered on the two growth pillars of AI agents and healthcare." He further emphasized, "With proven technology and partners in the rapidly evolving AI market, we will focus on delivering tangible results and meeting market expectations."
