Participate Until the 23rd
30 Winners Will Receive Gift Vouchers by Lottery
Jeonbuk Fire Headquarters is holding an SNS OX quiz event in November, designated as "Fire Prevention Emphasis Month," to raise public awareness of fire prevention in daily life among residents of North Jeolla Province.
According to the headquarters on the 17th, this event was organized in response to the increasing number of residential fires during the winter over the past three years. Everyday mistakes such as overheating electric blankets, overloading power strips, and carelessness in the kitchen have been identified as the main causes, prompting the launch of this participatory event.
The quiz is structured in a card news-based O/X format, making it easy and enjoyable for residents to participate. The questions focus on practical topics such as safe use of electric blankets, replacement intervals for fire extinguishers, fire alarm maintenance, and the prohibition of illegal parking near fire hydrants-issues that can be immediately addressed in daily life.
The event runs until the 23rd. Participants can view the card news on the official YouTube and Instagram accounts of Jeonbuk Fire Headquarters and join by leaving a comment. Consent for the collection of personal information for winner selection will be obtained through a separate Google Form.
Thirty winners will be randomly selected by computer from among those who answer correctly and will receive a chicken gift voucher. The winners will be announced on the 26th through the two official channels.
Lee Osuk, Head of Jeonbuk Fire Headquarters, stated, "Most winter fires begin with small acts of carelessness. I hope this event encourages residents to reflect on potential hazards in their homes and surroundings." She added, "We will continue to prioritize resident safety by promoting participatory safety policies that lead to practical action in everyday life."
