On November 17, Korea Deloitte Group announced that it will host the “2025 Year-End Closing Response Seminar with Deloitte: AI-Based Financial Innovation and Key Points in Finance and Tax” on December 11 at 2:00 p.m. at The Forum (3rd floor), Two IFC, International Finance Center, Yeouido, Seoul.
Recently, the corporate finance and accounting environment has been undergoing rapid changes due to the advancement of digital technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI). Automation and data-driven decision-making are spreading throughout the closing process, leading to innovations in accounting closing processes and internal control systems. AI is also being applied to various areas such as internal accounting management systems and closing, increasing work efficiency through automation.
This seminar is designed to help companies prepare more effectively for the 2025 fiscal year-end closing and to support the practical application of AI-based financial innovation strategies.
The first and second sessions will focus on the main theme of “Financial Innovation through AI Adoption.” In the first session, Lee Seungyoung, AI Asset & Analytics Group Leader at Korea Deloitte Group, will present on the topic of “Work Efficiency Strategies Based on Intelligent Automation.” He will discuss the direction of financial innovation using AI, ways to streamline work processes, and share cases utilizing AI digital assets.
In the second session, Kim Hakbeom, Partner at the Integrated Finance Service Group in the Audit Division of Korea Deloitte Group, will present on “AI Adoption for Internal Accounting Management System Operation Evaluation.” He will introduce automation methods for evaluating internal accounting management systems using AI digital assets and demonstrate an actual operating program.
In the third session, Park Soyoung, Partner in the Audit Division at Korea Deloitte Group, will present on “2025 Year-End Closing Guidelines.” Park will introduce recent case studies on inquiries and responses, highlight major audit review issues, and point out key considerations for the 2025 closing.
In the final session, Kim Heejin, Partner in the Tax Advisory Division at Korea Deloitte Group, will present on “Key Points for Year-End Closing Tax Adjustments in 2025,” introducing important tax adjustment considerations that must be checked before the year-end closing.
Jang Sujae, Head of the Audit Division at Korea Deloitte Group, stated, “This seminar will broadly cover response strategies for changes in the closing environment, from AI-based financial innovation to the key points in financial and tax closing for the 2025 fiscal year.
