LS Electric announced on November 17 that it has recently signed a transformer supply contract worth 76 million dollars (approximately 110 billion won) for an infrastructure construction project to provide power to artificial intelligence (AI) data centers in the United States. The ordering company was not disclosed due to contractual terms. However, it is known that this company has been sourcing large quantities of circuit breakers from LS Electric since 2022.

This newly contracted project is a large-scale initiative to build the power infrastructure for AI data centers. Accordingly, LS Electric will supply power distribution solutions based on distribution transformers to large data center complexes for about two years, starting next year through 2028.
LS Electric assessed that this contract was the result of its outstanding project execution capabilities and high reliability in quality, even amid challenging market conditions. The company continues to win successive contracts for data center power infrastructure projects in the North American market.
On November 10, LS Electric also signed a contract to supply switchgear and transformers to a data center being built in Tennessee, United States. This project was also an additional order from a customer who had already experienced LS Electric's solutions. The company expects that as more local customer references accumulate, it will be able to secure even more projects, creating a virtuous cycle.
