Sacheon City Runs "Walking the Path to Health Together, Autumn Outing" Program

Experience Program for 20 Home-Based People with Disabilities
Hands-On Activities Including Rice Bread-Making at Ucheon Barian

The Sacheon City Public Health Center in South Gyeongsang Province announced on the 17th that it conducted a social participation experience program for 20 people with disabilities, visiting the Sacheon Aerospace Science Museum and the Ucheon Barian Experience and Recreation Village.

This program, organized in collaboration with the Sacheon City Comprehensive Welfare Center for the Disabled, included a tour of the aerospace science museum and a hands-on rice bread-making activity at Ucheon Barian, among various other experiences. The initiative aimed to provide new experiences beyond daily routines, helping to relieve stress and improve the quality of life for people with disabilities.

An official from the Sacheon City Public Health Center stated, "Through this experiential program, participants were able to broaden their opportunities for social participation and enhance their adaptability within the local community," adding, "We plan to continue developing diverse programs to meet the cultural needs of people with disabilities and help them lead healthy lives."

Meanwhile, participants expressed great satisfaction as they experienced cutting-edge aerospace science technologies firsthand and engaged in creative activities and fine motor skill exercises through rice bread-making.

The Sacheon City Public Health Center will continue to provide customized welfare services to promote the health and expand the social participation of people with disabilities.
