Under the agreement, the two institutions will cooperate in all aspects of operating the contract-type specialized high school, including establishing school missions and visions, jointly developing industry-academia integrated education plans, creating local talent development plans encompassing employment, growth, and settlement, building sustainable governance, utilizing educational infrastructure and training facilities, and setting up a performance management system.

After a preparation period in 2025, the two institutions plan to launch a full-scale joint curriculum for new students starting in the 2026 academic year.

Yeungjin College plans to jointly operate advanced technology field training programs in areas such as mobility robotics, software, and materials manufacturing, enabling Yeongnam Technical High School students to gain deeper hands-on experience in industrial settings.

In particular, based on 12 courses offered by Yeongnam Technical High School-including M-Robotics (mobility equipment control, design, and component manufacturing), M-Data Software (mobility IoT systems, intelligent mobility electronic control, autonomous driving software development), M-Electric Control (mobility engine control, electrical control, and apprenticeship), and M-Material Energy (advanced mobility materials, mobility design, and secondary battery production and manufacturing)-Yeungjin College will provide a variety of practical, work-based education programs to strengthen job competencies in local strategic industries.

Additionally, in connection with the work-study customized employment services project for high school students, the institutions will also offer semiconductor process and production automation training courses, helping students receive specialized education that reflects industry demands from the high school stage.

Choi Jaeyoung, President of Yeungjin College, stated, "It is very meaningful to nurture technical talent who will lead the future of the local industry together with Yeongnam Technical High School. As a leading vocational education institution, we will actively contribute to fostering local talent by expanding practical, work-based education in the smart mobility sector to the high school level."

Song Wooyong, Principal of Yeongnam Technical High School, said, "This agreement marks an important starting point for our school’s advancement as a contract-type specialized high school designated by the Ministry of Education. Together with the college, local governments, and industry, we will provide students with a solid growth path based on the local industry."
