"What’s on Kendall Jenner’s Face?"... Medicube Launches Pop-Up Store and Times Square Ads to Capture New Yorkers

Pop-up Store Held in New York from October 24 to November 2
Targeting Shopping Seasons Including Black Friday and Christmas

APR announced on the 13th that its beauty brand Medicube opened a pop-up store in the United States and launched a large-scale marketing campaign in Times Square. The brand's elevated status in the U.S. was further highlighted by the visit of a famous celebrity to the pop-up store.

From October 24 to November 2, APR operated an offline Medicube pop-up store on Broadway in New York. In anticipation of major U.S. shopping seasons such as Black Friday promotions and Christmas in the fourth quarter, APR planned this pop-up store and other large-scale offline marketing campaigns to strengthen local brand awareness and generate buzz.

The New York pop-up store, themed 'medicube: Glow Mode On,' showcased a wide variety of Medicube cosmetics and popular Medicube AGE-R beauty devices. The space was divided into three main zones: an arcade zone, an exhibition zone, and a tester zone. The interior was inspired by retro digital arcades. Notably, the arcade zone featured four main modes of the AGE-R flagship product, 'Booster Pro,' recreated as arcade games. By combining arcade machines with the Booster Pro's main modes, visitors could naturally learn about the principles and benefits of each mode while enjoying the games.


More than 12,000 people visited the pop-up store. Most visitors were local consumers of diverse ethnic backgrounds. They participated in on-site games, events, and product experiences, responding very positively. During the pop-up period, the famous American model Kendall Jenner, known for being a regular user of Medicube products, was spotted visiting the store and personally experiencing Medicube's cosmetics and beauty devices.

APR also promoted the Medicube brand with outdoor advertisements throughout New York City, including Times Square and the subway. The campaign, under the catchphrase 'Glow out loud,' featured Medicube products such as the 'AGE-R Booster Pro,' 'PDRN Pink Peptide Ampoule,' and 'Zero Pore Pad,' depicting scenes of achieving radiant skin. The video was broadcast on five large electronic billboards in Times Square and on more than 500 screens across major subway lines, reinforcing Medicube's global presence among local consumers.


An APR representative stated, "This New York pop-up store and outdoor advertising campaign go beyond simple product promotion and are part of our efforts to further strengthen brand influence in the U.S. market. We will continue to actively engage with local consumers during the upcoming holiday season and into next year to solidify Medicube's brand position."
