This session consists of three classes: the Small Equipment Fitness Lab, Strong Walking, and Stretching Class. Each provides customized exercise programs and feedback tailored to participants’ individual fitness levels.

The Small Equipment Fitness Lab is held on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 10:40 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. It aims to improve cardiovascular and muscular function and prevent cardiovascular diseases and metabolic syndrome by reducing body fat percentage through Tabata exercises using various small equipment.

Strong Walking takes place on Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:30 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. Around Namwon Sports Town, participants engage in a progressive aerobic exercise program that transitions from walking to jogging, helping to improve cardiorespiratory endurance and restore fitness.

The Stretching Class operates in two groups on Wednesdays and Fridays: from 9:10 a.m. to 9:40 a.m., and from 9:50 a.m. to 10:20 a.m. This program uses foam rollers to enhance flexibility and is expected to help with muscle relaxation.

The program will accept 40 participants for the Small Equipment Fitness Lab, 20 for Strong Walking, and 20 for the Stretching Class. Any Namwon citizen is eligible to participate, and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information, inquiries can be made to the Namwon Fitness Certification Center.

Meanwhile, the National Fitness 100 Project is a sports welfare program aimed at improving the public’s fitness and health. It provides exercise prescriptions by scientifically measuring and evaluating physical fitness.

The city plans to continue developing and running a variety of fitness improvement programs to enhance citizens’ health and promote regular exercise in daily life.
