"Field-Oriented Legislative Philosophy Is Most Important"
Legislative Report Meeting Held at Sinseong-dong Administrative Welfare Center on the 11th
Jo Wonhwi, Chairman of the Daejeon City Council and a lifelong resident of Yuseong, stated, "I consider a field-oriented legislative philosophy to be the most important. I constantly remind myself, 'Why am I in this position?'" He went on to share his political philosophy, saying, "'Jingwangbulhwi,' which means 'True light does not glitter.'"
At the legislative report meeting held at the Sinseong-dong Administrative Welfare Center on November 11, Chairman Jo said, "The growth of Yuseong is the future of Daejeon, and the development of Daejeon is the future of Korea." He continued, "I will build Yuseong into an economic, welfare, educational, safe, and smart city."

As the legislative report meeting was held amid expectations that Chairman Jo would run for Yuseong District Mayor next year, more than 300 people attended, including Eun Kwon Lee, Chairman of the Daejeon City Party Committee of the People Power Party, as well as Lee Geumseon and Jeong Myunguk, members of the Daejeon City Council, district council members, and local residents.
Chairman Jo emphasized, "Yuseong has a complex urban structure that combines industry, education, housing, and transportation, making it possible for the district to serve as a platform for the overall development of Daejeon."
Lee Geumseon, Chairperson of the Education Committee of the Daejeon City Council, said, "I have worked with Chairman Jo Wonhwi for 12 years, and he is someone who is more passionate about fieldwork than anyone else. I am learning a lot from his legislative activities, and I look forward to what lies ahead."

Chairman Jo Wonhwi concluded by emphasizing, "I will listen to the voices of local residents more closely than anyone and work together to create a new century for Yuseong."
