On this day, Speaker Woo participated in the MIKTA Speakers' Conference held at the Grand Vista Walkerhill Hotel in Seoul under the theme of "Inclusive Leadership for a Future of Integration and Coexistence."

MIKTA is an interregional consultative group comprised of middle-power countries that are members of the G20 but do not belong to the G7 or BRICS, ranking 12th to 18th in the world by GDP. It consists of middle-power nations-Mexico, Indonesia, Korea, T?rkiye, and Australia-that share values such as democracy and a free market economy, and exert influence in their respective regions. The name "MIKTA" is formed from the first letters of each country's English name.

Launched in 2013 under Korea's initiative, MIKTA has since maintained active exchanges, including three leaders' summits (2022, 2023, and 2024), 28 foreign ministers' meetings, 10 speakers' conferences, and 22 senior officials' meetings.

This conference features a total of four sessions on international relations, climate and energy, social security, and political parliaments. Over 100 participants, including speakers and deputy speakers from each member country, are attending. The MIKTA Speakers' Conference operates on a rotating presidency system, with each member country serving as chair in turn each year.

An official from the National Assembly explained, "The upcoming 11th MIKTA Speakers' Conference marks the beginning of the third rotation, as the National Assembly of Korea assumes the chairmanship again after all five member countries have each hosted the conference twice."
