Kakao Launches "Everyday AI Forum" to Discuss AI Innovation with 13 Industry and Academic Experts

On November 11, Kakao announced the official launch of the "Kakao Everyday AI Forum" in collaboration with 13 leading experts in the domestic AI field. The forum aims to go beyond technology-centered discussions to broadly explore the impact of AI on everyday life and across industries, and to collaboratively address issues in each sector.


The forum discusses the impact of AI on daily life, industrial changes, and practical challenges that need to be addressed in the process. The goal is to derive practical solutions based on trends in AI technology and services, changes in industrial structure, and experiences from startups and academia.


The participating members include: Kim Deokjin, Director of IT Communication Research Institute; Kim Dokyun, CEO of Dalpa; Kim Seungil, CEO of Modu Research Institute; Kim Jongyun, CEO of Scatter Lab; Noh Jungseok, CEO of BFactory; Sim Kyuhyun, CEO of Lesser; Yoo Suyeon, CEO of NationA; Eom Yunseol, CEO of Arobot; Jang Dongseon, CEO of Future Exploration Community; Jung Jihoon, General Partner at Asia2G Capital; and Choi Jaesik, CEO of Ineasy. From Kakao, Byunghak Kim, Performance Leader of Kanana, and Kim Sewoong, Performance Leader of AI Synergy, are participating.


The forum's first meeting was held on November 10. Under the theme of "Agentic AI," the meeting focused on how AI will reshape organizations, businesses, and platform strategies.


Noh Jungseok, CEO of BFactory, presented on "The Evolution Direction of Individual Businesses in the AI Era," while Sim Kyuhyun, CEO of Lesser, discussed "Organizational Structure Changes Driven by Agentic AI." This was followed by a presentation from Kim Sewoong, Kakao Performance Leader, on "Agentic AI Transformation: A New Beginning for Platform Strategy."


Forum participants commented, "It was meaningful to have a serious and practical discussion about the daily life and industrial ecosystem that AI will change," and added, "We want to find ways for AI to become a positive and integral part of people's lives as quickly as possible."
