Applications Accepted Until December 12
First-Come, First-Served Until Budget Exhausted
Applications for the remaining 22 units under the residential eco-friendly low-NOx boiler installation support program will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
According to Sejong City on November 11, participants in this program can receive a subsidy of 600,000 won per eco-friendly low-NOx boiler. Eligible applicants include recipients of basic livelihood security, those in the lower-income bracket, recipients of disability allowances (pensions), children, the elderly, single-parent families, multi-child households (with two or more children) with an income at or below 100% of the median, as well as residents of social welfare facilities and public rental housing.
A city official stated, "Starting this year, we are expanding the scope of support to include public rental housing and social welfare facilities, thereby strengthening our support for vulnerable groups."
Applications for the remaining units will be accepted until December 12, or until the budget is exhausted. Applications can be conveniently and quickly submitted online, or by visiting the Environmental Policy Division in person or sending a registered mail.
Kim Eunhee, Director of the Environmental Policy Division, said, "This support program is an opportunity to practice both energy saving and environmental protection," adding, "We hope for active participation from eligible applicants, as this will help reduce the burden of boiler replacement costs for vulnerable groups."
