The diverse performances and experience programs, which combined cultural, artistic, and tourism elements, received positive feedback for bringing new vitality and a sense of community to Kumho-eup in Yeongcheon.
On the first day of the festival, a variety of programs, including Kumho Busking with local residents, a thrilling chase game, a performance by the mime artist Ppikkikki, and a random dance show by the YouTuber Dancing Bear, added excitement to the festivities.
On the second day, cultural performances that resonated across generations took place, such as the "Catch! Tinyping Performance (Parts 1 and 2)" for children and families, as well as celebratory stages by 7080 singer Chae Euijin, magician Lee Hyukjun, and singer Yoon Taehwa, evoking nostalgia and forming a sense of connection between generations.
Additionally, participatory programs such as the YouTuber game competition were met with great enthusiasm from local youth, further enhancing the significance of the festival.
In particular, the official ceremony and themed performance held on the second day provided an opportunity to share the vision and achievements of the "Kumho Neighbor Village Creation Project" and to strengthen the future of Kumho as a sustainable community where generations grow together.
This event was promoted with the core goal of the Kumho Neighbor Village Creation Project, which is to create "Kumho, a city moving forward with the future of young people."
Through the operation of programs integrating culture, arts, and tourism, the event demonstrated in practical terms that Kumho-eup can develop into a vibrant region where young people, seniors, and families come together.
Ha Inseong, President of Gyeongbuk TP, stated, "This event was a meaningful occasion where young people, seniors, and families all enjoyed themselves together, sharing the vitality and community spirit of the region," adding, "We will continue to take the lead in fostering a sustainable regional culture centered on Kumho Neighbor Village, where generations grow together."
