Event Runs Until December 31
May End Early if Budget Is Exhausted
Hwasun County in South Jeolla Province is holding a special year-end discount event on the public delivery app 'Meokkaebi' until December 31.
According to the county on November 10, this event has been organized to promote the use of the public delivery app 'Meokkaebi' and to stimulate local consumption. Users who place an order of at least 15,000 won through the Meokkaebi app will receive a 3,000 won discount coupon, which can be used immediately. Each person can receive the coupon twice per month, and the event may end early if the budget is exhausted.
The coupon can be used in conjunction with other discount coupons. In particular, users can also pay with the Hwasun Sarang mobile gift certificate, which offers a 15% discount until next month, allowing them to enjoy even greater savings.
In addition to this event, Meokkaebi is supporting small businesses that offer free delivery by providing 1,000 won per order for up to 100 orders per month within the business budget.
Park Yonghee, Head of the Local Economy Division, stated, "We are supporting the activation of the public delivery app to alleviate the burden on small business owners who are struggling with high intermediary fees and to revitalize the local economy. I hope many people will use the public delivery app 'Meokkaebi,' which greatly helps stabilize the management of small businesses."
Meanwhile, Meokkaebi is a public-private cooperative delivery app introduced to reduce the commission burden on small business owners. It can be used with a much lower intermediary fee of 1.5% compared to private delivery apps, and there are no separate entry or advertising fees.
