According to the county, this agreement was initiated to boost tourism by linking the resources possessed by both organizations and to develop tourism content based on the natural, environmental, and cultural assets of Muju, which is designated as a Special Nature City.

Approximately ten representatives from both sides attended the signing ceremony, including Hwang Inhong, Governor of Muju County, and Chae Junghoon, Head of Sales and Transportation at Aero K Airlines Co., Ltd.

Based on this agreement, Muju County and Aero K Airlines Co., Ltd. plan to pursue joint marketing and business planning to attract tourists, develop tourism products tailored to the region, operate travel programs linked to airline routes, and implement cooperative projects aimed at revitalizing the local economy and increasing tourism revenue.

Governor Hwang Inhong stated, "I expect this agreement to serve as an opportunity to further enhance the tourism competitiveness of Muju, the Special Nature City, and to create a new model for invigorating the local economy. We will do our utmost to work with Aero K Airlines to showcase to the world the true essence of the village recognized by the United Nations as the world's best tourism village."

Aero K Airlines commented, "The value of Muju County's natural environment, history, culture, and humanities resources, befitting its reputation as a Special Nature City where fireflies thrive, a sacred place for Taekwondo practitioners worldwide, and a village selected by the United Nations as the world's best tourism village, is beyond imagination. We will actively cooperate to enhance accessibility and develop and operate new tourism products so that Muju can establish itself as a world-class destination for extended stays through our airline."

Meanwhile, Aero K Airlines Co., Ltd., established in May 2016, is a domestic airline based at Cheongju International Airport. It operates 18 domestic and international routes and, under the vision of being a "warm-hearted airline for people," provides practical services at reasonable costs.
