Seo-gu invited Kim Yujin, a restaurant business consultant known as the ‘Korean God of Business,’ to conduct practical training over seven sessions, including “11 Strategies to Increase Sales,” “10 Strategies to Maximize Profit Margins,” and “The Owner’s Strategy,” thereby enhancing participants’ business management skills.

In addition to the lectures, participants also formed voluntary small groups to share business experiences and know-how, building a strong network.

Going forward, Seo-gu plans to organize an ‘Alleyway Market Mentoring Group’ centered on academy graduates, providing mentoring on business strategies and promotional methods for small business owners in need, and seeking ways to revitalize local alleyway markets.

Kim Ikang, Mayor of Seo-gu District, stated, “To revitalize the local economy, it is important to create an ecosystem where small business owners can share their know-how and grow together,” adding, “We will continue to provide tailored education and sustainable support that offer practical help.”

Meanwhile, Seo-gu formed the ‘God of Business Mentoring Group’ with academy graduates, with 31 members participating as mentors. These mentors visited mentees’ businesses to provide hands-on, on-site mentoring.

Additionally, the mentoring group donated their activity allowances as sponsorship funds to support local small business owners, thus fostering a culture of sharing and mutual growth.
