According to the center on November 6, the Young Farmers Farming Settlement Support Project was established to help young farmers with unstable initial farming income settle stably in the agricultural sector.

The center aims to select young and talented individuals interested in agriculture and provide them with farming settlement support funds, capacity-building education, consulting, and policy fund support.

Eligible applicants are young people aged 18 or older and under 40, with three years or less of independent farming experience or those planning to start farming. Final participants will be selected through a document review and an interview evaluation.

Those selected as young farmers will receive a monthly farming settlement support fund ranging from 900,000 to 1.1 million won, depending on their farming experience, for up to three years. In addition, up to 500 million won in successor farmer development funds (loans) will be available for up to five years, including the year of selection.
