The performance sharing meeting featured a variety of activities, including performances by 13 club teams playing instruments such as the gayageum, janggu, ukulele, and saxophone, as well as contemporary dance, line dance, and choir. In addition, 10 teams presented program achievements, and a total of about 200 local residents participated to share their activity results. There were also exhibition-sharing events featuring postcard art and book art.
County Governor Jin Byeongyeong stated, "Through this sharing meeting, it was a valuable opportunity to reflect on the achievements in regional development created jointly by the administration and residents, and to further strengthen and resolve the direction for sustainable rural development through the local community. Next year, we will continue to expand resident participation and steadily promote the project."
The City and County Capacity Building Project is a resident-led rural development capacity building initiative in which local residents independently plan and implement projects utilizing local resources. Through a public contest by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, Hamyang County is promoting this resident capacity building project in cooperation with the Village Making Center, which serves as an intermediary support organization.
